YON 2020 Day 359: Eileen Kilbane Gordon, MSN, RN, CPNP

In this tribute, Eileen Kilbane Gordon, MSN, RN, CPNP, reflects on her decades of practice and the many nurses who have helped to shape her career. She begins with her mother and sisters and their influence on her decisions. Eileen found inspiration in studying the work of Florence Nightingale and used it, along with the energy and insights of colleagues, to become involved with nurse activism. Thanks to their efforts, the practice of APRNs was elevated in Ohio and Eileen’s activism continues on other fronts.
