Margarita Diaz, MSN, RN, is the manager of Health Equity Initiatives in the Office of Inclusion and Diversity at The MetroHealth System. In her role, she develops and promotes system initiatives and community partnerships to proactively and strategically address health disparities, with a focus on underserved and underrepresented communities. In her video, Diaz talks about the flexibility within nursing and the wide scope of roles available. She emphasizes the need and importance of diversity of thought and culture within healthcare teams, and how inclusion benefits populations served. Diaz is the current chapter president of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses Northeast Ohio (NAHN-NEOH).
